old equipment and small screen
This theater still uses film-based projectors. Head over to Marquee in Westbrook for a complete digital projector experience. While this theater is okay, it needs to be cleaned better and it needs its projetors to be up-kept better or upgraded to digital.
This theater has been renamed to RC Theater Metro.... We went to see Moonrise Kingdom and the picture only filled about 80% of the screen. The picture was blurry which have me a headache. This was our first and last visit to this theater. I will be going to Gallery Cinemas in Colchester from now on.
The theater is decent but very small compared to others in the state. Also the concessions are pretty pricey. The seats are pretty good as is the lighting inside.
